Our Civil Litigation Section has long been involved in some of the most high-profile civil litigation matters pending in the District Courts of Central Texas. Our Attorneys have represented companies in trademark litigation, real estate disputes, zoning disputes, hotel franchise litigation, employment disputes and other areas of complex commercial litigation.

In our role as litigation counsel, we will review the dispute and advise you as to cost-effective strategies, such as pre-litigation mediation, short-track litigation with an eye towards early mediation or full-blown litigation. In the event the matter needs to be litigated, we will keep you involved in formulating long-term strategies as well as short-term tactics such as e-discovery, pre-trial motions, early demands for settlement and witness preparation.

Our Civil Litigation Section takes a multi-faceted approach to legal representation. Since we practice both civil and criminal law, we understand how some civil case may have criminal law implications. Our Attorneys can assist you in recognizing and dealing with these types of issues. Between Walter Prentice (bankruptcy “of counsel”) and David Sergi, the firm has a combined 60 years worth of bankruptcy and litigation experience, and can provide seasoned advice on the interplay between bankruptcy law and civil litigation.
