David K. Sergi & Associates, P.C. was founded in 1993 by David Sergi in order to serve the needs of clients living in Central Texas. Since that time, the law firm has represented a wide variety of clients and added lawyers who work with one common purpose – to provide a quality, efficient work product that meets the highest innovative standards of practice while maintaining a collegial environment that encourages and fosters teamwork and motivation. The law firm offers a full range of commercial and personal legal services. The law firm is dedicated to “big-firm service” in a “small-town environment.”

The law firm of David K. Sergi & Associates is housed in a renovated historic stone building in the heart of San Marcos, located one block east of the current Hays County Justice Center, and about 25 minutes from the Caldwell County, Comal County and Guadalupe County Courthouses. Our recent renovations include state of the art computing technologies, facilitating our attorneys’ effective case management and secure remote access.

Having grown up and matured in San Marcos, our law firm has found our balance point, litigating and defending cases between Austin and San Antonio, along the I-35 corridor. As our law firm has grown, we have handled cases statewide but our heart remains in the mid cities.

Through effective networking, our law firm is now affiliated with a variety of independent practitioners who are experienced in diverse areas of practice. The law firm also maintains contact with independent paralegals and legal assistants. In this way, we are prepared to handle even complex litigation efficiently, and with resources similar to much larger firms.

Our attorneys are not afraid to take on the hard cases, and have been involved in a wide variety of high profile government and commercial disputes, ranging from real estate battles involving hotel chains and claims against well-known insurance companies, to our representation of Landry’s Restaurant (Joe’s Crabshack), in their attempt to remove the fence along San Marcos River. However, we are also a personal services firm and offer a wide variety of professional legal services for individuals, such as bankruptcy, family law, estate planning and probate, as well as retained representation for those unjustly accused of criminal acts. Our law firm’s basic philosophy is simple: to help people resolve disputes pragmatically and realistically with an eye towards the future.
